After heartbreak

After Heartbreak – A poem by an amateur poet

Now is the time I must say,
What I never wanted you to know
That my cohled eyes were meant for you
But the tears did never show.
You were near yet so far
The cell phones talked to each other,
My silence spoke length for me
You didn’t listen as you didn’t care.
What to say of those nights,
When I sang sweet numbers for you
My heart ached as I wished you dere
To kiss me hard, to hold me tightly.

You wanted to go, so I let you go,
Why fight to keep what’s not mine,
Only two moments I stole from you
Think ‘ll be enough to keep me going
